I may be mistaken, but I believe that all of the 2300c computers have an
IDE drive, and therefore an IDE cable. The motherboard has a connector for
SCSI, and machines that started their lives as a 230 would have an SCSI
drive.
So, you might want to check if your drive is SCSI or IDE.
