They claim you can, but I never have used it like that since I have a larger
inverter that I use in the car to run my laptops.

It says in the directions that it is a 5 amp hour 12 Volt lead acid battery
system and it has it's own internal fuse.

Standard 12V power inverter connected to a 12V gel cell. Probably has a
charger built into the system
Now that I see this pic (thanks)
I have seen these at Target, or a similar one. A Friend is using it
for his Powerbook 190

The model number is VECO18-AC and it has a inverter built in, so you just
plug your AC into the pac and off you go. The place I got mine still has

They still have them and their phone number is 715-234-7092. The packs are
in the automotive section and are $19.95 eac
Sounds great!
Any model information? Are you running a 12 volt adapter off it, or does
it plug right in somehow? Are there anymore where you got yours, or where
they blowing out old stock?
TIA

I just purchased a interesting battery to use with my 280c and 2300c, which
seems to keep them running for 3 plus hours. I no longer have my 2400c, so I
have no idea how long it would run on the battery pack. It is an external
battery pack, with a power inverter built into the power supply. It is
