TomeViewer, and the installers problem isn't so much 9.0, but the hardware,
as I've tried again since installing 9.1 and it still won't.

Up until recently, I had been running OT 2.6.2 (included with AirPort 1.2)
on my 2400 with OS 8.6 with no issues.

Exactly. If you prefer, you can have the hang at Startup by disabling the
"Load Only When Needed" option in the Advanced settings of the TCP/IP
Control Panel.

Yep, it is DHCP related. It can take anywhere from 1 to 30 seconds to
get a DHCP address since you either rebooted, sleeped or change
network config on you system.
I hate DHC
