Sorry. I guess I missed a post. I thought that he was talking about retrofitting a 2300 with a trackball. The model names are on different parts. The 2300 is labelled as a 2300 right next to the microphone, while the 270 says 270 right below the screen. A 2300 with a 270 trackball would o

If you want to use the 270c screen housing and bezel on your 2300c, you may have a problem, as the 270c uses an 8.4" display and the 2300c has a 9.5" display. If you're talking about moving your 2300c motherboard into the 270c, then that should work, because, as someone else mentioned, that is
