I also have noticed the delay in the charging icon.
Please note, that I see this delay in my TiBook also.
The battery with the red X is another problem. For
some reason the computer thinks that the battery is
bad. Either the battery is really bad, or the computer
is wrong. The fact is batteries do

Make a list of everything that is obviously wrong like the missing screw, and
then ask DT&T about it. It's possible they had a new technician
