PCMCIA works with no problems that I've found, but you will need a 
recent version of the 2.2.x kernel and a recent pcmcia-cs package (as 
long as you're already running a 2.x kernel you should be able to 
upgrade independent of the rest of the SuSE distribution).

What kernel and pcmcia version do you have now, and what problems are 
you seeing specifically?
