Your machine does seem to exhibiting the same behavior mine did before it
was cardbus-enabled. I tested it with a firewire card to just to see if it
worked and kablooie. Have you tried a usb card?

was it done by DT&T? It seems if it works sometimes it would less
likely be mechanical, but that is just my first reaction with time to
