Hello,
my experiences with Virtual PC and Windows 95 are as follows:

on a Duo 2300 with 20MB RAM: Impossible

on a Performa 5400 with a 603e @160 MHz and 56MB RAM: Works well, as if it
where an Intel
'486. It works well with PsiWin, the software I need to connect to my Psion.
Some infotainment
CD-Roms work also. But it is too slow for any bigger programm like Outlook,
Word etc.

on a PowerMac 5500 with 603e @275 MHz and 48MB RAM: same as with the
Performa, but more
RAM is needed.

on a G4 cube with about 300MB RAM: Quite fast but not very stable. The cube
itself seems not to
be very stable, indeed.

As far as I can see, for basic applications a system with 603 processor @
about 200MHz could be
enough. But a G3 is needed for real work. To run Virtual PC smoothly the
application needs at
least 100MB of RAM and it also uses about 500 MB on your hard disc.
Important: As far as I know only Windows 95 Version B is capable of handling
USB. And:
Windows 98 needs more than twice the ressources as Win95 does.

I also tried Virtual PC on my Duo together with a copy of Windows 3.11 but
it didn't work at all.
The mouse moved very strangely and it was impossible to navigate with it.
Does anyone know a
cure for that? Maybe I can download an extra driver?

Best Regards,
Karsten
