So if anyone is keeping track :-) My 2400 is now able to sleep. I had to go back to OS 8.6 (not a problem and maybe a blessing). 8.6 allows Shutting of the display rather than only dimming it from advanced energy saver control panel settings
I did SEVERAL Pram zaps. I did not take at first. then I got ONE successfull sleep and wake so I kept at it. It sleeps and wakes without any peripherals on the scsi bus. Sleeps on AC or Battery. so I am happy with that. thanks for the help. >hi > >I am having some trouble with my new to me 2400c >it most always fails to wake from sleep. >It still has the latch-lite flashing. and when I hit a key to wake it >screen lite up but nothing else... no desktop. > >I can do Control Command Power...I get the startup chime -- screen >goes dark ---but no screen wake up.
