This is Radio Kuwait's 13650khz DRM service in Arabic. No matter what way I
point my antenna or fiddle with my antenna tuner, I don't get a good lock
at all. In fact, this is the best lock I've had in 2 weeks. Most times "DRM
Service A" text" shows up the display, but audio never plays and goes
My listening post gave me a good laugh earlier today. Patio table with
umbrella .. the antenna is a rectangle shape between those two speaker
stands with PVC pipe on them in my neighbors yard and driveway

Pretty solid signal, a few minor burps in the audio but no complete drop
outs.

This screen shot is from the UTwente SDR and even in poor conditions, you
can see the Oman carrier on the waterfall and detect some kind of audio..

It's 20 ft long by 10 feet tall. Using 22 gauge "Ajax Scientific PVC Solid
Wire Hook-Up". I have a 5 foot PVC Pipe, 1 1/4' in diameter jammed onto the
top of each speaker stand to give me extra height.
The wire is run between PVC pipes then down the length of the pipe and
I had one over a year ago but had to sell it when it sat around for 6
months because I couldn't use it due to my location.
There is one on ebay from a great seller, but the display has faded out a
bit, says so in the listing.
I would love to buy a JRC NRD 535D for a reasonable price if someone

that play music, like Radio Kuwait 15540khz and Radio Oman 15140khz,
download Soundhound and Shazam on your smartphone or tablet device.

Well, at least 3 times in the last 2 weeks, I've heard the broadcast
continue after 2300UTC.
The interval tune without speech will play out after the English language
transmission ends, and

S9+40 with a Tecsun PL880 and Wellbrook ALA1530LNP in Alaska. SINPO: 6
111735khz, 13760khz and 15180khz are all in english to "Latin America". All
are strong, with 11735 and 15180 being about an S8 and slightly fadey.
Hard them here on 12050 here in Alaska a few days ago, didn't check how far
up their signal went.. but the audio was distorted, muddy and
overmodulted.. but a strong signal nonetheless.

Any of my ham or SW friends have an EMTech ZM2 QRP tuner? It works great in
tuning up a long wire on the shortwave bands.
They are out of stock of all of them due to a lack of parts and I need a

While SW DXing Thursday night April 6th around 530pm local time/0130 April
7th, I heard two hams talking on 14190.10USB
One signal (W7UDI) was so strong, clean, clear and steady, I would give it
a SINPO of 6. The other ham was almost as clear, but a slight tinge of
noise and fading to him,

womped" to death by splatter from my local 660 KFAR (10kw non directional,
300 miles to my east)

between them and my listening post, 2100 miles.
For what it was and where it was, it was exceptionally clear.
Heard on December 24th at 1256AM local time (0956UTC) with Sacred type
Christmas music and a Sacred Heart Radio
9575 MOROCCO, Radio Mediterranee International, 0029UTC to 0105UTC March
25th. They're actually producing a pretty strong signal here, but famously
undermodulated so combine that with a bit of fading and it's really hard to
even hear much. At 01030UTC, the music appears to stop and then there's a
