tuning procedure, noted a person under CHU in Spanish language comments.
Tuning the signal in required notching out CHU's carrier and tuning
Huallaga's
signal in precisely to the smallest possible spot. At 1053 the signal
Peru, 6173.88, Radio Tawantinsuyo, 1049-1100, Sandwiched in between
stations on 6170 and 6175,
making for a difficult copy, noted a male in steady Spanish language
comments. Still if Tawantinsuyo
was not off freq, I doubt if I'd be able to copy anything from her(it). At
1053 the signal
Surimane, 4990, Radio Apintie, (pres) 1025-1035, With a very
weak signal, noted a male in steady comments - probably Dutch?
Unable to actually hear the language being spoken due to the
signal's weakness. He continue to talk the entire period.

heard an ID at 1052 as XERTA, Mexico. Signal
Russia, 7225, Voice of Russia, 0001-0120, Noted steady Russian language
commentary and news. At 0006 heard a canned ID. Parallel signal on 7260khz.

signal that is directly over Radio Tarma.

I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what kind of antenna I
could use to help with my reception? Unfortunately, I have been coming
up with zero ideas? Can you all just send me an idea of what you think
might be a good solid antenna for me. I live in South Florida in

here on the hour with Indonesian language comments from a female.
This is followed with Qu'ran prayer by a male which lasts until 1011.
More brief comments then music. The signal is threshold at this time

antenna problems or a shortwave fadeout, but accidentally tuned
to this freq and noted Libertad with a fair signal while a male was in
Spanish comments between music. This was totally unexpected because Rebelde
just 14 KHz

news conference being broadcast here. It seems to be ahead of the
TV broadcast that I am listening to on PBS TV. The signal was

to fair level during the period. At 2330, I think I heard a male give

signal at 1046 for a few minutes with a female in comments. Could not
ID language. At 1048 music is presented. Signal begins to get bombarded
with RFI as the morning progresses. By 1106, signal

I hadn't pulled up EBAY in a couple of months, so this evening I thought
I'd go there to see what receivers were available for bid? I first
entered the Watkins Johnson HF1000 for a search which came back
as zero items found. Then I tried the NRD-545 which also came back
without any

a female talks over music followed with possible news. Signal stayed at a

Mexico, 6104.50, XEQM, pres, 1108-1210 Tuned in late when
I noted typical Mexican type ballads. After one tune a long discourse
by a male in Spanish language. Later more music. At 1205 a female
