One thing to keep in mind is that the switch of the two forums to the Crowne
Plaza was done by the forum organizers, not the Hamvention staff. I think
it was less than wise of them to permit and/or condone it (assuming that
they had a choice) -- not because a more comfortable surrounding for forum
I agree, the whole bus thing is already bad enough, but having to get
all the way to Crowne Plaza is poor planning at it's worst. Fix the
forum situation at Hara and all will be solved, under one roof. Make
the air conditioning work, and schedule the forums appropriate to the

Requiring you to shelp to your car in plenty of time to get to it, find and
drive to the off site location, find a place to park
then get back to the Hara and find another (pay again) parking spot is absurd!

relaxing to be able to "recover" from the CP suites on Saturday morning by
sleeping in a little. I really enjoyed being able to leave my hotel room and

forums at Hara, primarly because I help a vendor there and if they
were at Hara at least I would have a chance to attend at least part of
the forums.
