Have you been near a Dollar Store or 99 cent store lately ? While I haven't checked, I could swear they had them, although they might only be the No. 10 business size, which is not what you want. That might also imply that they are made by MEAD company, who does most of the school supplies around

Is there any information published anywhere for DXCC countries regarding what band/modes are needed to different places? Or is just the overall need for an all time new one all that is available?
Going to a not-so-rare country, the question arises- Operate on 20 where I can get lots of
Offhand, I don't know of anything... and it's something that may vary from
DX'er to DX'er anyway.
The closest thing that comes to mind is the DX Bulleting annual survey showing
the 100 most wanted, overall and by regions. But by bands too? I don't recall
if it shows that.

My
experience in operating from not-rare places is that the WARC bands and the low
bandsproduce the most general interest. On my visits to FJ and KP2 with an
ic-706 and a palm tree dipole, I was amazed at the pileups on 12m, 17m, 30m and
80m.

of KH8SI and all I've got to say is instead of being a cry-baby, you should
sharpen your DX skills. I've had no problem working them 5 times on 3 bands-all
SSB.
What I've noticed is callers parking on one
frequency and calling over and over
I agree with Jose. I have poor antennas and worked KH8SI twice (two
bands). But despite the DX operators on this xpedition, the stations
they're running do leave something to be desired.
The other night on 17 mtr, I worked Samoa and another island grp each only
abt 400 mi or less from KH8SI.
