Beacons sure come in handy! I love the sound of 6 meter and 10 meter
beacons filling the beacon subbands when the bands are open.
But you're right; the darned things never want to work me.

Now this is why I really hate these types of discussions.
Overlooked is all the years the ARRL fought for code tests. All that is
remembered is when they bowed to the inevitable and tried to make the best
of a bad situation.

Remember incentive licensing? Now, a few decades later, and money is tight,
a license without code gets through the FCC. Have to keep up the membership,
you know. But now they want dx space for digital robots.
