Does anyone have a fairly good method of keeping birds off Yagis?. I am
constantly having problems with birds.
Any ideas would be appreaciated.

Put up a vertical! Build a "cat elevator", buy a shotgun, buy an amp, work
longpath and try to work the stn again but shortpath, put a scarecrow at the
end of the boom, put up a sign on the boom that says "slippery when wet", get
into falconry..

A friend put a plastic owl on his boom and that solved his problem. Available
at Home Depot.

While this potentially works, I believe I read somewhere of the necessity of
having it north-facing. I'm still trying to ascertain whether it should be
true-north or magnetic north, personally.
