I worked the 7O operation just before Iraq invaded Kuwait. The QSL manager
was a member of the Kuwaiti
royal family which had to flee Kuwait. I had sent a QSL card but figured no
chance of getting a confirmation. Four years later I got the card.

Ham radio lost a friend and great operator Monday. Nellie, XE1CI passed away
from cancer. Many of us worked her on "expeditions". She was my E4 QSO and
I had the pleasure of meeting her at Dayton. Nellie was a distinguished lady

Almost every DX expedition uses QRZ
after completing a contact and individual DX ops do the same. That QSL and

work BS7H on 20 SSB, the 940 SELF shifted from USB to LSB. Won't go back to
