I'm moving this discussion to DX-CHAT. Even in the ARRL CW DX contest last weekend I heard a DX station sending "N2D? N2D??" and a W5 kept calling. W5 isn't even close to N2D in CW sound. There is no excuse for it. I don't understand it, either, but then I don't do it. Maybe you'd have to ask s

Well, don't be surprised if a few of those stations tell you to MYOB.  With a few choice epithets thrown in.   I've found that the worst practioners don't really care what you think, or what anyone else thinks.  They're in it for themselves, win place & show, and the heck with you.Feb 23, 2011 02
