Greetings from the ice.
All ok from down here, WX is cloudy, temperature minus 11 deg, wind sped
15knts.
Our people involved in Convoy trip, did return back in station on 27.10.09
at 19:15z
Due to bad weather in Western Antartica, the first technical flight "Bachlor
" from LU expecterd for the 28 did not came our way.
HF conditions were bad on 20M band in the evening, but late in the night was
OK for 1 hrs.
Today again 20 Meters are closed, but evening time while sun come in west,
conditions improve ut to excellent 2 hours openings for EU . Tell US
stations to turn their beam to 70° South, I will be very pleased to work
more US on 20!
Next 2 days I will try to take part of CQ WW SSB the biggest contest! If
condx be good will get more opportunity to make new QSO
73 to all VU3BPZ Bhagwati
WAP , and you will join the Antarctic life !
