I missed the Father, but I did go to his old school a few yrs ago and sadly all that remained of ham radio there was his 9N1MM call letter baseball cap sitting on a file cabinet. I wrote about the trip in DX Magazine with photos. The Father is still much loved in Kathmandu, of course. 9N1AA

Hi Jim, Haven't received my QST yet but read Brooke's piece on the web which you mentioned in your "broadcast". I never worked 9N1MM (or any other 9N for that matter - yet!) but I am privileged to have met Father Moran in person. How's that for a long shot from California? I'm retired now
