Does anyone know if the YT1AD op in North Korea was ever certified by
DXCC. I have a contact on 12M CW contact with that station in December of
last year and held off QSLing, hoping to hear about the DXCC blessing.
Thanks - John Owens (N7SEJ)

Hrane never got permission to
Thanks to the many who responded to the question about P5/YT1AD contact.
It is unanamous. It was a pirate! Fortunately my other P5 contacts have
been confirmed. Does the current 3XY7C op have a website for log
checking. I have an ESP contact with him on 40M CW that I would like to
verify before

If I remember correctly, Hrane never was QRV. They were supposed to use P5A, and
actually had a license or permission from the government, but the military never
signed off on the operation and thus they were never actually on the air. They did
spend a lot of time listening to people pirating
Thanks to the many who helped on log check or log site info on my ESP
contact with 3XY7C. Turns out I am in the log after all. All of the
tuner-uppers, lids, and on-freq QRMers failed to prevent it. I guess they
didn't understand what he meant when he sent UP. They did give it their
best effort
