What is the latest on this station getting an official approved
license It was supposed to happen before the end of last year.

meters early this morning working JA's when P5/4L4FN called me. I sure was
surprised when Ed said he wanted to test his new amplifier. He was 5-6
without the amp and 5-9 with it. I guess I could have worked a slim but I
don't think so. I will kno
I thought ED was a SSB only operation.
Is that him on RTTY or a Slim?

I had the pleasure of working Ed on 15M RTTY yesterday, only my second
ever RTTY contact. No comments about having already worked him on
another band. As a matter of fact, I already have a card from his manager
for contacts on 10 and 15M SSB. He seemed to enjoy working the RTTY, and
pileup wasn't

was that he was not until permission had been received
(written). However, at some point I would imagine he
would send them.

About 6 months ago, I got a packet TALK message from Bernie, W3UR. He was
in QSO with Ed P5/4L4FN around 21.255 and asked me if I needed a QSO (I
did). Try as I might, Ed could not hear me (single-element antenna and KW
here), though I was the only one calling. Sigh, at least he's going to b
Ed's got a big signal here in the southern USA this afternoon.
He's peaking S7. Running 50 baud, 21085 mark listening up
at 1730Z 7/4/02 working USA & EU.

A few VK6 hams worked P5/4L4FN on 6 metres around 06:50 UTC. I was not
aware of Ed been active on 6 metres. Anyone shed any light on this ?.
There was propagation to South Korea area at the time so it is possible
or it could have been a SLIM !!!.
