@mishd: Alt+F10 is only an option if the menu-items you are looking for are in
the first level of the menu and if there are only a few items.
If you have lots of menu items (probably nested in sub-menus), ALT+F10 +
keyboard nav does not help.

> sudo apt-get install gconf-editor dconf-editor dconf-tools
> dconf-editor
Then go to "apps / indicator-session"
And enable "suppress-logout-restart-shutdown"
