compiz crashed
I'm also experiencing this bug, however it does NOT seem to happen when I don't
have chrome running. Switched to firefox and it seems to be running fine. I'll
report back when I have more information.

After screen powers off by locking the station (Ctrl+Alt+L), the first typed
character when typing the password is always omitted.
This leads to mistyped passwords.
This bug is presented from Ubuntu 14.04. Later ones had gnome lockscreen
(probably) which has not had this
Note, that this is tested on the 2.4GHZ network with an Asus n66u wifi
router.
Using the 5ghz network on the 3.11 kernel I'm able to reach speed above
200mbit/sec.
Tests are done 1 meter away from router.
