Touch screen and touchpad lost
Mh, virtualbox might be somewhat related to this because it creates a
grab... Lockscreen shouldn't be shown at all in this case BTW.
Can you still reproduce this issue?

My understanding is this bug is obsolete. canonical contributed a more
general accountsservice feature for storing arbitrary metadata alongside
the user.
See bug 63733 for details.

Greeter, user backgrounds are not displayed...

To my knowledge, Canonicals contribution is only in Canonicals patched
version of accountsservice. If I install accountsservice-ubuntu from the
Arch AUR, LightDM will then show the user background. Meaning, the
underlying code is indeed in LightDM. But hey, what do I know?

okay, but that doesn't have anything to do with this bug. Canonical
already added the infrastructure to accountsservice, whether or not
lightdm uses the infrastructure is a different matter

sounds like you know more about it than I do, but regardless, I don't
think there's anything left to accountsservice.

This affects me as well. Super annoying. I really enjoy Unity, but this
needs to be fixed asap. Running Ubuntu 14.04. GTX 970 with latest
