As part of the big bug review for 16.04 LTS, I have tested this on 15.10
and the bug is still there.
Although 15.10 doesn't have Unity 2D, HUD results are not spoken by Orca
in regular Unity.

I still have this problem on my desktop and I didn't see any fixes being
commited. If you know that someone has fixed it for sure please link the
related branch. In any other case, please don't change the status from
"Confirmed" since this bug affects many users and it's in our priority
