configuration to the original report:
Ubuntu Studio 16.04 Beta 2, updated.
Installed ubuntu-desktop task to get Unity desktop.
Same 3x2 workspace configuration, single 1920x1200 monitor, however this
time using a Radeon 380X on
You're right, this is being pulled in only on s390x. We should still
solve this for 16.04, to clean up component-mismatches.
Possible options:
- Remove indicator-applet from the archive. No reverse-depends, only
reverse-recommends, and it doesn't seem to be actively maintained? (last upload
But of course, I need to do it everytime I reboot :-(

It's easy to reproduce. Create for today an yearly repeating event (no
matter if it's an all day event or just an hour). Then in your calendar
app there should be an entry on the date and time you have entered. Now
go one year ahead in the calendar app and you will see, that this event

To further clarify: I can still find menu entries by searching for them
in the HUD (fx. in Nautilus press Alt and type "folder" and select the
"Create folder" menu item there). So I guess the menus are still
exported somehow, just not being rendered.

"Recommends: indicator-applet | indicator-renderer"
Unity provides indicator-renderer and it has been this way for years...
I guess you are looking at component mismatch? In this case the issue is
likely something else, e.g unity not being
