Are all of these unsupported? I know that the signage effort was
initially using webapp-container (part of webbrowser-app) with mir. Even
if webbrowser-app were removed, oxide-qt might still be interesting for
signage/etc since it can be used with upstream Qt.

Here is an ical that should contain the event that sounded this morning.
Ie, there is a calendar event for 10am local (US/Chicago) on 2016-01-13
that sounded the calendar alarm at 6am local (US/Chicago). This is a
recurring event and I included all events with the 'SUMMARY:1 on 1

that bug should be fixed on its own, however it got me thinking about

This is resolved in wily. I removed LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 from
/etc/environment and then logged in. If I open a terminal or evince, the
overlay is not too small, I move the cursor over it, it expands inward
and is easy to grab.

is not fixed as I had hoped. :\

I'm not 100% sure those backtraces apply to this issue (they might).
I've seen a couple kernel backtraces too but haven't had anything close
to reproducer yet for those, so haven't reported them. I can say when
this happens there is no kernel backtrace.

I see this too on an XPS13 9343 with external monitor. The cursor is
correctly sized when over certain windows (eg, firefox, chromium), but
small when over title bars, the panel, the background, the launcher and
some gtk UI elements (eg, parts of the calculator). This list is almost
certainly not

Anecdotally-- iirc, 6 out of 7 people on my team use white on black.

I've been having some pretty bad firefox performance issues in 13.10, even in
safe mode. It seems that if I disable the the global menu with this (in
about:config):
ui.use_unity_menubar = false
then restart, performance is *greatly* improved. unity-panel-service and
hud do not peg the CPU any
Adding unity-lens-applications-- not sure if it is there or unity8.
Adjust as necessary.
