The copy progress window seldom or never appears on my install neither
on the desktop nor in alt-tab super-1. Not on any of the four virtual
desktop spaces eithe
It happens all the time with and without firefox open.
This appears to be a problem with Unity only. Everything works fine with
Gnome Fallback.

Ok fair enough, to satisfy a fix for this particular bug, I've increased
the sensitivity of the scroll wheel's influence on volume when the mouse
is over the panel icon to match that of the volume slider (and hence,
the spec).

I cannot recreate the situation where I have audio while the panel sound
indicator displays a muted icon. As far as I can tell, the indicator
icon always represents the correct state of system audio.
