Public bug reported: In Ubuntu 13.10, when entering something in the default Dash and pressing Enter, there's a delay of about 2 seconds until the application is started. In these 2 seconds, the little spinning wheel to the left of the entry field is spinning.
This delay is lower (~1 second) when using the applications lens (Super+A) and pressing Enter to open the first result that is shown. The delay can only be observed when additional/online results are still being searched. This lag did not happen in 13.04, 12.10 or 12.04 for me. ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu.
