It also happens with VLC-player. Frequently, out of 8 in 10 times, when
you play a video in window-sized-mode, then make it full screen, after
stopping the video, the mouse pinter is gone. Right mouse button works,
however, displaying all drop.down-menus.

Same here, but do not have mplayer installed.
I get this behaviour about 4 out of 10 times when waking up from
suspend, after switching to Vt1 and back I see the pointer again. Other
Vt's does not help? Noticed you use a signed kernel. I see this both in
CSM and Secure Boot mode.
