I'm de-duping this because the X server *should* be choosing Gallium 0.4 on SVGA3D, which it does on older xorg-server versions in Trusty. A recent update broke this. Targetting xorg-server and I will update it with some version numbers. ** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 1179210
