Same problem here. CTRL-ALT(-SHIFT)-direction works, CTRL-ATL-T for terminal doesn't, ALT-tab works, ALT-SHIFT-tab doesn't... strangely enough if I change terminal to CTRL-ALT-N it works, it also works with CTRL-ALT-D, but if I try to set Hide all windows to CTRL-ALT-D it doesn't work 15.04 -

@Andrea, I suppose you are asking me. Yes, same as with the OP, the shortcut keys are set correctly. In fact, this is a pretty virgin installation. Same as him, the problem also went away after a reboot. What I forgot to do was to verify with xev that the key events were indeed triggered. --
