I can't reproduce this when I start System Settings from the dash. I'll
ask the user to confirm how he starts USS.

Jonas, are you sure that ever worked? How do you start settings? The
action is authorized for local users but not for remote ones, e.g it
should work if you start from the shell but not if you adb/ssh and start
from there. The change suggested on the bug you pointed would fix that
case though
