Matching subscriptions: dx-packages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/840665 Title: Workplace switcher allows windows to be placed behind the top bar Status in compiz package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Ubuntu 11.04 When dragging windows around in workplace switcher, the top bar is not visible in any of the four squares. Because of this, windows can be dragged around so that their titlebars are where the top bar usually is on the desktop (top bar being the one with the ubuntu button and the power menu etc). This has the consequence that, once the user comes out of workplace switcher mode, they cannot access the window controls nor move it by dragging, as the window's title bar is hidden behind the desktop top bar. Obviously you can hold down ALT or just go back into workplace switcher to move the window back into the middle of the desktop, but it still makes the system look less polished and professional when this sort of thing can happen - as usually it is impossible to drag a window further up than the top bar allows.
