You have been subscribed to a public bug: With the current implementation, it looks like the timer is reset every time the pointer exits from the proximity area. This creates a paradox because it makes the ephemeral notifications more persistent the more the user interacts with the content underneath them.
Proposed solution: - Pause the timer when the pointer enters in the proximity area - Resume (not reset) the timer when the pointer exits the proximity area ** Affects: notify-osd (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Assignee: Mirco Müller (macslow) Status: Confirmed -- Timer should resume not reset on proximity out https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/979023 You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to notify-osd in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages Post to : dx-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
