Now that I am becoming accustomed to DX4WIN I am beginning to want to expand it a little. Is there any way that I can add fields to the database and then customize the QSO window to show them? I don't mind doing a bit of VB programming if that is what is necessary. For example, I am currently pu

Use the QSO/Contest Mode dialog box and then put your normal power in the Text to add to QSO note box. I also use $$ in this box which causes DX4WIN to log the exact frequency (including split) for the qso. The only way to log the beginning time for a qso is to put it in the Notes for this QSO. T

Wendell, DX4Win logs the QSO time as the time you tab through the time field. However if you never tab through the time field then the time is the time when you hit the enter key. I always log the starting QSO time by tabbing through the time field. So you can log either starting or ending time.

Wendell, I'm not sure that the time necessarly reflects the end of the QSO. It really depends upon your operating habits. IIRC, the time is frozen at the moment you tab over the "Time" field (or hit "Enter" if you don't go past the time field). e.g. if you tab over the "Time" field and don't h
