I used to build an import filter for each contest...easy, just takes time.
SP7DQR has a really neat little utility for converting the data from
Writelog into DX4WIN.

I finally resolved this problem by deleting and reinstalling the
printer driver for the HP Deskjet 990Cse. The default Avery
8160 format then worked for both Word and DX4WIN!

Thank you all for the help with my CT-V. I replaced the Max232CEP chip
with a holder and a new chip and the unit works. (It had stopped keying
the rig.) I bought a spare chip 'just in case'. Replacing it was not
difficult but working in tight quarters made me a bit nervous.
