I uploaded around 7000 QSOs (ADIF-export from DX4WIN) to the LOTW this
afternoon and found the first "QSLs" on the LOTW-website. The list of "QSLs"
is increasing nearly from hour to hour, as other amateurs are uploading
their logs.
The LOTW-website has to be - for the time being - checked manually
Last night, things must have been down. Took until
Sunday morning to get my reply to the EMail submission.
Today, a slightly smaller log with few errors (one) took
a couple of minutes.
Do rejections just take longer?

I have uploaded 73,872 Qs and have had 'hits' of just over 305 QSLs

Something they said at the DX Forum in Dayton this weekend is that this is
currently a beta test. When the test is finished and they get ready to bring
it online for real, they are going to wipe the data base and start over,
possibly with a start date earlier than 1-1-1998. Just thought everyone

Interesting Jim. I did a search on the web and only found results that were
permanent on Rivilla Gigedo... HM makes one wonder.

Hello,
Just play with LOTW. Upload file went smooth, only one error (in callsign I
put question mark, e.g. "S51XXX?").
Found 167 contacts confirmed, but wish there is no statistic (how many
entities worked/confirmed), DXCC Award, etc.
My question is: if I made new contacts should I send the whole
Thanks, Joe. Similar CPU speed here with workstation bus. I wonder
how I find out when more QSO confirmations occur.

You need to upload the .TQ8 file that you get from "signing" the .ADI file,=
=20
not the .ADI file itself.
Generating the "signed" file seems very CPU intensive here.
I'm running a workstation and it pretty much consumed everything
here until that step finished. It created a 1.5 MB file. That's big.
Any idea what "16 QSLs entered" means? Is that matches to others
in the Beta? (Seems like a low hit r
Thanks, David. I'm trying this right now.

What you can do is to specify a filter before you use the export function;
if you do that, you'll get asked if you want to use the filter for the
export. Set up a filter for QSOs only later than 01-Jan-1998 and it should
only export those QSOs.
You can re-submit you log if it cut you off due to
I guess I missed this in the Beta guidelines, which means I need to
delete several thousand QSOs from the ADIF file. That would have
been good to catch before I submitted things.

The file size was consistent with mine, given the approximate number of
QSOs we both entered. My PC's CPU was at nearly 95 percent - Dell 933 MHz
- while it was processing - very CPU intensive. The 16 QSL records means
that you have 16 confirmed QSOs.

Hello all !
I have just encountered a problem while using another
laptop computer with DX4WIN and RAC CD call sign book.
I use a laptop with 366 MHz ( Win ME ) and when using DX4WIN to
lookup at RAC on automatic mode, it will do it right after I am
done with the typing of the call on call sign
Something I hadn't noticed before...
All my Amtor QSO's were changed to JT44, I assume during the conversion
5 -> 6...

All my Pactor QSO's are rejected...
The editor drop down lists GTOR or Clover... But not Pactor... Anybody
know what's going on? Just modes invented in the USA supported???
Mel...
VE2DC
All,
My DX4WIN is version 4.07.
When I export to ADIF, I can't find any options for choosing the fields to
be exported, so all fields are exported. I would like to export only the
essential QSO fields (date, time, call, mode, band, RSTs, RSTr). Nothing more.
Any hints?
TIA,
Roger - PY1OL
