I have noticed that since I upgraded to V6.02 that there is an annoying
behavior that did not happen in the 5.x versions. The problem is that when
I have DX4WIN open and I then open/switch to another window (web browser
for example) when I click the DX4WIN button on the start/programs
I'm thinking about changing out my shack computer to a (used PIII)
laptop, which will force me to use the USB ports as serial ports.
At the present time, the shack computer uses one USB port (for a
non-radio application), 4 serial ports (for packet, rig [DX4Win and

My operating system is Win98SE. I know my problem is not RF, since the
interface works FB with CWType, and N1MM. I suspect that I need to specify
the correct port address somewhere. CWType and N1MM allow this.

I checked it with W98 and XP Pro... With and without the Leave all
windows in their original positions checked... And all is as it should
be.
