Some weeks ago, somebody posted a message that gave the name of a
manufacturer that makes serial to USB converters. I know it wasn't
Byterunner. Does anybody happen to remember who it was?

I don't recall the posted message you are referring to but I use Belkin
www.belkin.com model F5U103. Works fine for me. I use it to interface my
Yaesu MKV to a new Gateway computer.

yes, that's exactly what I mean, there is no way to get them out from the
log file. they are not included in export in no way...
