I would like to see the cut off frequencies configured for the digital sub

few spots lately that look like "cw" spots when in reality they were rtty.

John, tell us the answer to this simple test.
Turn off the packet spots, now does DX4WIN follow band/mode changes on
the radio correctly and how fast does it follow them?

John,
I believe I have read there is a com port speed issue with the Orion II.
Some Orion IIs actually run closer to 56000 not 57600 like they are
supposed to. Judging from what you are reporting, it might be worth
trying to change the comport speed in DX4WIN.
File|preferences|radio|baudrate,
Thanks to everyone who responded trying to solve the band mode data issue I
am having. Hopefully this can
be resolved soon by Paul.

Got it! How short-sighted of me. I have occasionally used that to change
the CW sub-band for 160, never realizing it could be done for every
band. Boy, do I feel silly.
Thanks, Kostas.

this and modify your settings. I have already done this as iaru 1 band plan
is different and dx4win comes with usa standards.

Marc,
so you are saying this is normal? Like you I never had this issue with my
Kenwood TS-930SAT or my Yaesu Mark V. My two month old Orion II is doing
this and one other person beside myself that I know of is having this band
mode change in the qso window. hmm.

John I think it is working ok. You are correct that the grayed boxes
follow the packet spots but I think you will find that once you start to
enter a call into the callsign box the next time the radio is polled the
grayed entries will match the radio and remain correct until you enter
the QSO and

Thanks for the email Scott,
The radio is turned on and in the qso window the band and mode are grey

The easiest way is to get the report,Report, Listingand select the
bands you are interested in.
In the DXCC matrix you now have; if you double click on an entry; the QSO is
shown in the log window ! Go find the QSL !!!
If you ever need to filter by country; then that is easy too.F
Hmm, further more I would have assigned a group for each callsign.
Otherwise it becomes difficult to identify which call you made the QSO
with. If you want to look at France as a selection then just make a
selection/filter that contains the groups/callsigns you used in that
situation.
Its like th
When you turn the radio on, you still have to the Radio Menu and choose
"Start Radio". In the QSO window, is the band and mode "Grey" or
"Black"? Grey would indicate it is reading the band and mode from the
radio. Black would indicate that you have no communication between the
radio and DX4W
Bob,
with the radio OFF and the dx4win packet cluster running, the spots band and
mode will show up in the band and mode in the QSO Window and will stay there
until another new spot. That is normal and that is not the problem.
When I turn the radio ON and hit F9 for real time, whatever band and m
No you don't run out of groups if you use the same group for the same
contest each year. If you want to look at a specific year just apply a
date filter for the group.

someway I can get dx4win to tell me what qso,s I have on 10,15 etc.Is there
a way to sort by band ?? thanks,73 john
Can anyone tell me why when I click on a SSB spot the band width is 590
cycles??? I have to keep turning up the BW to 2400hz or so.
What can I do to correct this?
I use DX4WIN and an Orion2.

I have made a selection called "OH DXCC" which contains all the calls

Ian,
I am using groups for different calls (I have 37 different calls in the
same log, group 001 is all calls). Using selection it is easy to track
awards for each call or group of calls.

Hi all,
Just getting into this program. Looks really FB! This marks the very first
time (aside from contest logs) that I've done them electronically. At this
point, I'm still in the beginning stages of entering fairly sizeable amounts
of "off line" QSO data. While doing this, I've run across ca
