For what it's worth, I use a Radio Shack USB to serial cable on 7.07.02
connected to my ICOM and it works great. Sure beats ICOM's
price for the CI-V cable.

The only option I can think of is to delete the iota number
for that qso and save with F10, you can also copy the iota reference in notes
for this qso
