You probably have the waterfall display configured incorrectly... dx4win
is not more or less sensitive than other programs... check in PSK31
settings under display what you have set baseline to. It is probably set
too high. This parameter sets the "black level" of the waterfall.

I'm in the final stages of a comprehensive station functional

I finally got around to trying PSK31 and everything seems to work, BUT...
For some reason DX4WIN really needs a big honkin' audio signal to do
anything with PSK. MM
Hi,
Once in a while I get a message that a user is still waiting for their
license key for an order placed a number of days ago. If that is the
case, the email with the license key may have disappeared in your spam
folder etc. or your email blocks my email address. If you are still
waiting for a
Still running 6.04 (but working on the upgrade part)...
The "Mailed Cutoff" functionality doesn't seem to work for me:
- Mailed Cutoff = 730 (so if I understand correctly, anything with a date
older than 2007-08-24 in the QSL Date field will not be marked as "mailed"

Hi Don,
I can add SMIRK. Is there a list of member with call and SMIRK # on
the web that I can download?
What about 6m club?

Hi to all on the list,
Now after up grading to Ver.8.01 from Ver 7.05, and running it for a few
weeks, and most important going through the learning carve. And I use
LoTW and eQSL as well as cards and have over 300 conformed I also have a
few the CQ awards. The only thing I can find is the follow

Now I know what Paul goes through when he tries to figure out everyone's

I use a different process...which works for me
I only set the QSL flag on the QSOs I 'need' with a Ynot **all** of
them, as you mentionedthen if I subsequently get a LOTW confirmation,
The next release of DX4WIN changes the "M" flag back to the way it was
in version 7.

Filtering on the label flag will work if you set the label flag to yes for all
QSO's.
I up-load all QSO's to LOTW and after a month or two if I do not get a hit on
LOTW and I need the confirmation for an award, I search the report for W's then
set the label flag for that QSO's and send a
I could use a brief explanation of how to manage QSLing with version 8. In
version 7 I knew that QSOs marked with W were worked but no QSL card had been
sent. When I sent a QSL card and posted the date in the logbook, the W changed
to M. The C meant 'confirmed' and in my log that means 'card
David,
When the 'W' changes to 'M', the QSL label flag is still set to 'Y'
Isn't it?...
So if I filter on QSL Label flag set to Y, I get a listing of all the QSO's
I still need to print...
I'm trying to understand the problem and what I might need to do as a 'work

George, V8 changes the W to M when you up-load to LOTW. This is a huge problem
for me and is redundant as the up-load date gets set and the up-load flag is
cleared when you up-load. I can no longer determine what QSL cards that I have
to send out. I have worked around the problem with an elab
When I do reports, listing I no longer see a "W" for the worked QSO's but
"M" in their place. I went back to my V7 DX4WIN and the "W's" were there.
The "C's" for confirmed are fine in V8 though.
I didn't mail all these cards?
What am I doing wrong.
