I have been working on DX4WIN.CTY #70. You can read the release notes here:

Most of the changes have resulted from my work with Alan 5B4AHJ of
Club Log. The list of changes is now so long that I would like to
release this in the next day o

them in my log
A have group 1 for my call (SV1DPI)

in file>preferences>qso i have group 1 as standard so any new qso
A question regarding previous callsigns. I am going to enter my logs from my
previous call so I can upload them to LOTW. These contacts still count for
my overall DXCC records, so should I create a group for that call or is
there another way of doing this. Thanks in advance.

Sounds pretty much like what I am doing now with the same kinds of
problems. One thing I do to make life easier is I print up to 5 QSOs per
card in large print on the plain reverse of the card, that way I avoid
tight registration issues.

Let me add a caution to all considering a printer purchase, either to
print QSL's or for the more usual purposes.
While a well-designed modern printer can last for many years, the
manufacturer may support it (i.e. provide specific drivers for current
operating system versions) for only a few, e
I have a HP 5150 which was one of the cheapest when i bought it 5 years ago.
It printed 5000 cards in 1-2 days (for a special call for Olympic Games in
2004). It accepts more than 50 cards at once. I don't think that someone can
find it new. I have tried also canon mx300. This is 1 year old and
Is purchasing cut-to-the-size-you-want stock from
a local job shop printer an option? I'd think it would
be a good choice.

I print QSO information directly on pre printed QSL cards using a HP
Photosmart C7100. It has a small tray especially for printing photos. I
can load 20 cards a time in there. I print directly from DX4WIN, it took a
bit of mucking around as the card size is not supported so I just use the

So use labels from Staples until you use up your stock on hand. There is a
cost to buy labels, but then "print your own" QSL cards on virgin stock
sucks up a LOT of expensive printer ink. "Where's the trade off?" would be
my question.

I have a few thousand pre-printed cards to use up also. I do print them
with my Brother... but the tray only holds about 25 cards at a time... a
real pain if you are printing 1500 like the last batch I did. Frankly, I
prefer LotW ;-)

Well I have 3500 cards I need to get rid of before I start to think about
card stock. So I was hoping someone had used pre-printed cards with their
printer. Looks like most are going with card stock. I wish I would of
thought of that before I ordered cards.

I'm fixing a couple of things in the ADIF to DX4WIN conversion program I wrote:

1. Add sent serial number to "Notes for this QSO" field (optional)
2. Fix missing space between frequency and QSO note in DX4WIN6 format

Are you asking about printing the entire QSL card from blank stock, or
printing data into pre-printed boxes on the front or back of a pre-printed
QSL card?
I can do it easily fill in the boxes on my HP Officejet Pro K550 printer.
The paper tray easily adjusts to hold and feed the pre-prin

With the mouse cursor, just grab the separator bar which will be just
above the function keys and drag it up.

Does anyone know how to get it back?
Last time I had to reload DX4WIN 8.01.
