But, when importing to DX4WIN, each dupe crashes DX4WIN.

Wrong - if your QSO preferences are set correctly, all imported QSOs
will have the "LoTW Upl" flag set automatically on import. See N7CW's

DX4WIN.
If you import an ADIF from a contest logger (or wherever) the LoTW flag is not
automatically set. If however you import into a new log you can set all QSOs
LoTW import flag. In the search window (F8) hit

I do not see the point in NOT uploading all your QSO.
YOU may not "need" them, but maybe others need ythe contact with you.
And it is easier too ! and does not cost more ( 0 + 0 = 0 )

I'm trying to export to LoTW.
I read the note posted about doing so.
It says the file needs to be updated for V8.
I am running V8.04.
When I follow the instructions in the posted note, I find I have no
selection of "labels" to set the date of the upload.
