Could it be that the port driver was not installed? If that is the case,
look at the document setupdone.rtf in the docs sub-directory of
DX4WIN.

When moving from 8.03 to 8.05 I have lost a function. Packet spots used to
deliver the callsign of the spot into the callsign field - I can't make 8.05
do that. All the other data does move into the QSO window - it states the
proper country, etc. Is there a menu item somewhere that turns this
I have a Brother QL-700 label printer which does a nice job on address labels
as well as QSL labels. The problem is on printer setup in DX4WIN, I put in the
size I use which is 2.4 x 1.1 but DX4WIN will not hold that size and defaults
back to 1.1 x 3.5 after closing and reopening??? Am I

I am not sure the port driver was installed correctly. When I run
LPTDriver.exe, it suggests installing into the C:\dx4w803\drivers directory.
This seems incorrect. I have a demo version of Dx4win ver 8.05 installed in
C:\dx4w805. What directory path should be used to to install the port
