I had the same .cty file (22Jul2012) in my download directory. I
replaced the damaged file in the DX4WIN/Save directory, as you
instructed and sure enough DX4WIN opened normally. REPORTS seems to
confirm that all is OK.

While DX4WIN, Firefox, Tbird and other apps were open, some glitch
occurred that obliged me to reboot the computer. Now DX4WIN no longer
