Hello. Thanks to all for the replies. Here is further information about my
friend's setup.
It sounds like either a file path problem or a User Security Setting
problem with Windows 8.
Make sure your friend is running the program as Administrator, with full
privileges to create/change files
Well it actually can with the interfaces. http://pignology.net/ Dan, KI6X

Hi Dan,
Thanks for your message, but I also
Lee, I would use just Notepad as a text editor and Find/Replace the section
of say Mode:2CW to say Mode:3JT9 or whatever you are after.
Copy/Paste if only a few to do. Missed what you were after changing. Dan

I need a recommendation on a program that will allow me to convert my adi
file for editing to correct the mode before it gets uploaded to LOTW.

Hola Isidro
What are the parameters in File - Preference - QSO - Secondary backup
directory ?
What are the parameters of the DXL file? Right click on the DXL file -
choose properties and remove the 2 marks in the bottom. See also
Thanks for all the suggestions. I was able to use Notepad to make my edits
and successfully uploaded my wsjt-x.adi file to LOTW. It ends up being
simpler to keep the WSJT-X log separate from DX4WIN since JT9 is not
supported by DX4WIN. I had entered my first 7 QSOs only in DX4WIN before
OK I have MMTTY module working within DX4WIN.
Thanks for the replies.
