Mike W0VTT had the answer.
To enter a SWL QSL, go to the reported QSO.
ctl/F2 brings up a window to enter the SWL call
and also creates a label to print later.
I had forgot the ctl/F2 part...

I found that a TS2000 also needs a "real" serial port. Mine would not work
with a USB to serial interface.
