My laptop is connected to the Remote Rig box on the K3/0, so certainly there is no RF issue there. But if ultimately DX4Win must detect connectivity back to the K3 itself, RF could be an issue. In my case, it is not RF as the connection to the rig drops whether I am transmitting or not.
I will have to study exactly how the Remote Rig boxes work and then figure out a solution. It is a pain to constantly lose the rig connection, and sometimes I am connected for 5 minutes and sometimes for hours. I will increase the Max Tries to 6 and set the poll rate to 1000 and see if that helps. The K3/K3-0 are about 2000 miles apart and both on Comcast. Since DX4WIN works fine, I am not sure that is the answer to my problem. But it could be yours -- think about if there is any chance RF is getting into the pc.
